Holes were drilled into the electrical box for the USB-C power cable and the antenna connection. This was sealed with cloth tape. It was then attached attached to the balcony with cable ties.
It achieves great range. In a suburban area it is reaching a repeater 30km away (due to lucky line-of-sight) as well as other closer repeaters <10km.
It is configured on NSW Wide settings: which is:
915.8Mhz
Coding Rate: 5
Spreading Factor: 11
Bandwidth: 250kHz
The power situation unfortunately is not the best with it only lasting overnight on sunny days. However almost all usage is during the day so this is not a major problem for me.
